Is this an original Apple iPhone 11 screen?+

What is IC chip transfer and why does it matter?+

Will Face ID still work after I install this?+
Yes. Face ID is driven by the TrueDepth camera assembly above the screen that module stays inside the phone during a screen swap. Replacing the screen does not affect Face ID. If Face ID was already broken before the screen damage, that is a separate TrueDepth fault and a screen swap will not bring it back.
How is refurbished different from a brand-new aftermarket screen?+
A refurbished screen uses the original Apple LCD layer with new glass so colour profile, viewing angles and brightness match the factory iPhone exactly. Aftermarket panels (BQ7, IQ7, XO7) are brand-new replicas built by third-party manufacturers close to OEM but not original. Will this fit my iPhone XR or iPhone 11 Pro?+
No. This screen fits iPhone 11 only (model numbers A2221, A2111, A2223). The iPhone XR is the same 6.1-inch size and looks identical externally, but uses a different flex cable layout XR screens will not fit iPhone 11 and vice versa. The iPhone 11 Pro (5.8-inch) and 11 Pro Max (6.5-inch) use OLED displays and need different replacement parts entirely. Always confirm your model number in Settings before ordering.
What is included and what do I need to transfer?+
Included: refurbished pulled-OEM Liquid Retina LCD assembly, cold-pressed frame, sensor brackets, ear speaker mesh and proximity sensor flex pre-installed. Not included: earpiece speaker, IC chips, front camera, screws or adhesive strips. Move those across from your broken screen. The IC chip transfer is the most critical step it preserves True Tone and prevents iOS warnings.
Is this suitable for first-time DIY repair?+
No the IC chip transfer step requires microsoldering skill. You will need a hot air station, microscope or magnification, soldering tweezers, low-temp solder and flux. If microsoldering is outside your comfort zone, walk in to our Forest Lake counter and our in-house technicians will install the screen and complete the IC transfer for you. First-time DIY techs without microsoldering experience should consider the BQ7 incell aftermarket option instead that panel is plug and play.
What does the 12-month warranty cover?+
The 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects: dead pixels present on arrival, backlight failure under normal use, touch becoming unresponsive without physical impact, and panel separation from the frame. Not covered: drops, cracks, water damage, IC chip damage during transfer, installation errors, scratches or pressure marks. Bring the screen, your order number and a description of the fault to our Forest Lake counter.
