Protect and personalise an iPhone 17 Pro Max with a clear REDEFINE Airshield case that combines a transparent back, coloured edge accents, a built-in magnetic ring and a covered Camera Control area. Select Black, White, Orange, Blue or Wine from the Color menu. The colour applies to the border, button covers, camera surround and magnetic ring. The clear back remains transparent. The price is for one case only; the iPhone, charger, screen protector and other accessories are not included.
Exact compatibility
This case is designed for the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max, introduced in 2025. Apple identifies compatible devices with model numbers A3257, A3525, A3526 and A3527. The iPhone 17 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch display and measures approximately 78.0 mm wide, 163.4 mm high and 8.75 mm deep.
It is not intended for iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone Air, iPhone 17e or earlier models. The supplier's back-office codes also mention a future model, but JPC does not claim compatibility with any phone that Apple has not officially released and verified. MagSafe and wireless charging
The visible magnetic ring helps align the phone with MagSafe chargers, stands, wallets and car mounts. Apple lists the iPhone 17 Pro Max as supporting MagSafe and Qi2 charging. Charging speed still depends on the charger, power adapter, temperature, alignment and attached accessory. Remove cards, metal plates or incompatible attachments before wireless charging.
This is a third-party REDEFINE case and is not described as an Apple-certified accessory. Magnetic hold varies between accessories, and a magnet does not guarantee that the phone will remain attached during vehicle movement, vibration or impact. Support the phone when attaching or removing a wallet, stand or mount.
Camera Control and button access
The case includes a touch-enabled cover positioned over Camera Control rather than leaving a completely open cut-out. Test light presses, firm presses, swipes and camera adjustments after fitting the case. Sensitivity can vary with hand position, moisture, dirt, gloves and accessibility settings. The Action button, volume buttons, side button, speakers, microphones and USB-C port remain accessible through shaped covers and openings.
Drop and edge protection
REDEFINE packaging and product imagery advertise air-cushioned corners and drop protection up to 3 metres / 9.8 feet. This is a supplier claim, not a guarantee that a phone will avoid damage. Real outcomes depend on impact angle, surface, height, repeated wear, installation, phone condition and whether the case or screen is already damaged.
The raised screen and camera edges are most useful on flat surfaces. They cannot prevent contact with gravel, uneven objects or protruding edges. No case makes a phone indestructible or waterproof, and the case does not extend the iPhone's water-resistance rating. A separate screen protector can be considered for front-glass coverage.
Anti-yellowing treatment
The supplier states that the clear PC, TPU and PE blend has an anti-yellowing layer. It is designed to slow visible discolouration, but it cannot permanently prevent ageing. UV exposure, heat, skin oils, cosmetics, cleaning chemicals, smoke and normal wear can change the clarity or colour over time. This expected cosmetic change is not a performance guarantee.
Fitting the case
- Remove any existing case and wipe the phone with a clean, dry microfibre cloth.
- Check that the case and phone contain no grit, moisture or damaged parts.
- Insert the top edge of the iPhone first, aligning the camera plateau and buttons.
- Press the remaining corners in gently without stretching the magnetic back.
- Confirm that the camera surround sits flat and all ports remain clear.
- Test Camera Control, every button, wired charging and wireless charging before regular use.
For removal, lift one lower corner and work around the edge gradually. Do not bend the case sharply, force the camera surround or use a metal tool against the phone.
Care
Remove the case periodically and clear dust from the inside because trapped grit can mark the phone. Clean with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, then dry fully before refitting. Avoid alcohol soaking, bleach, solvents, abrasive powders, high heat and dishwashers. Stop using the case if it cracks, warps, develops sharp edges or no longer fits securely.
Stock and preparation
All five colours were orderable from the Australian supplier when this page was checked. Orange was limited to Melbourne stock, while Black, White, Blue and Wine were available in both supplier warehouses. If a colour is not physically at JPC, an order may be prepared from supplier stock. Availability can change before confirmation.
Warranty and Australian Consumer Law
JPC Mobile - Tech Repair & Accessories does not offer an additional or voluntary product warranty on phone cases. Cases are protective accessories exposed to impacts, friction, stretching, discolouration and normal wear. Cosmetic change, accidental damage and damage to a phone during use are not covered by an additional JPC warranty.
This does not exclude, restrict or modify any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Does it fit iPhone 17 Pro?
No. This version is shaped for the larger iPhone 17 Pro Max. The camera platform and body dimensions differ.
Does the case support MagSafe?
Yes. It has a built-in magnetic alignment ring for MagSafe and compatible Qi2 accessories. Charging performance and magnetic hold depend on the accessory and alignment.
Is the case completely clear?
The back is transparent, while the border, camera surround, buttons and magnetic ring use the selected Black, White, Orange, Blue or Wine accent.
Does 3-metre drop protection guarantee my phone will not break?
No. The 3 m / 9.8 ft figure is a supplier-packaging claim under test conditions, not a damage guarantee for every real-world fall.
Does the case cover Camera Control?
Yes. A touch-enabled cover is built into the case. Test the control after installation because sensitivity can vary.
Will the clear material ever yellow?
The supplier applies an anti-yellowing treatment, but clear materials can still change with age, UV, heat, chemicals and handling.
