    Install Notes — Read Before Fitting

    • Power off the console fully before you open the back.
    • The back cover uses Y00 tri-point screws. Use the right bit.
    • Inner shields use JIS 000 screws. Keep screws in order.
    • Warm the old battery adhesive to lift it safely.
    • Never pry a swollen battery hard. Lift it slowly and evenly.
    • Do not puncture or bend the cell. Damaged cells can catch fire.
    • Fit the pre-cut adhesive strip before seating the new battery.
    • Use an anti-static strap to protect the board.

    Does this fit the Switch OLED? +

    Yes. The HAC-003 battery fits the Switch OLED (HEG-001). There is no separate OLED battery part. The OLED uses the same HAC-003 as the original Switch. No modification is needed.

    Will it fit the Switch Lite? +

    No. The Switch Lite (HDH-001) uses the smaller HDH-003 battery. That cell is 3570mAh at 3.8 volts. It is a different size and part. This HAC-003 will not fit the Lite.

    Is this a genuine Nintendo battery? +

    No. This is an AMPLUS battery. AMPLUS stands for Aftermarket Plus. It is a higher-tier aftermarket grade. It matches the original 4310mAh spec. We never label it genuine Nintendo.

    What does 0-cycle mean? +

    It means the battery has never been charged. It arrives fresh with full capacity. Its lifespan starts from your first charge. Cells are rated for around 500 charge cycles.

    Is the adhesive strip included? +

    Yes. A pre-cut adhesive strip comes in the box. It holds the new battery in place. Clean the old adhesive off first. Then fit the fresh strip before seating the cell.

    What tools do I need? +

    You need a tri-point Y00 bit for the back cover. You also need a JIS 000 driver for inner screws. A plastic spudger and pick help lift the old cell. A heat pad softens the adhesive.

    Should I calibrate after fitting? +

    It helps to recalibrate the gauge. Charge the console to full and leave it briefly. Then run it down and charge again. This teaches the console the new capacity.

    My back cover is bulging. Is that urgent? +

    Yes. A bulging cover means a swollen battery. Stop using the console right away. A swollen cell is a fire risk. Replace it with this fresh battery as soon as you can.

    What does the warranty cover? +

    The battery is covered for 12 months. It covers defects from the date of purchase. It does not cover puncture or install damage. Keep your order receipt for any claim.
