    Why the S10 Plus Needs UV Liquid Glass

    The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus has a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED curved-edge display. Standard dry-apply tempered glass cannot bond flush to the curve.

    UV liquid optical clear adhesive flows under the glass. The bond cures rock-hard under a UV lamp in around 60 seconds.

    UV glass is also the only format proven for the S10 Plus ultrasonic sensor. The in-display fingerprint reader stays accurate. Dry-apply glass disrupts the sensor signal.

    A UV-bonded curved glass keeps face unlock, screen rotation and edge swipes working as designed.

    Install Notes For Best Result

    Wear nitrile gloves and work in a clean, dust-free space. Power off the phone and remove any old protector cleanly.

    Clean the S10 Plus display with the wipe and lint-free cloth. Apply UV glue down the centre line of the screen.

    Lower the curved glass at the speaker end first. Let the glue spread under by capillary action.

    Wipe any glue squeeze-out with the lint cloth. Cure under a UV lamp for around 60 seconds and trim excess.

    Will this fit my Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus model number?+

    Fits all S10 Plus model variants. Confirmed codes include SM-G975F, SM-G975U, SM-G975N, SM-G975W and SM-G975B. Both 4G and 5G S10 Plus units are supported.

    Does this work with the S10 Plus ultrasonic fingerprint sensor?+

    Yes. UV liquid glass is the only protector format that reliably passes ultrasonic signal. The cured LOCA layer keeps the sensor reading correctly. Re-enrol your fingerprint after install.

    Why does the curved S10 Plus need UV liquid glue glass?+

    The S10 Plus has a curved-edge AMOLED display. Standard dry-apply glass cannot bond flush to the curve. UV glue flows under the glass and cures hard for a true edge-to-edge fit.

    Is the UV curing lamp included in the kit?+

    No. The kit includes one tempered glass and one UV glue sachet. The UV curing lamp is sold separately. Most repair shops already have a 405nm UV lamp on the bench.

    Can I install this myself or should I bring it in?+

    Confident DIY users with a UV lamp can fit it at home. Most buyers prefer a workshop install for a clean, bubble-free result. Walk in to our Forest Lake store for a professional fit.

    What is the difference between UV glue and dry-apply glass?+

    Dry-apply glass uses a sticky silicone film on the back. UV glass uses liquid optical adhesive that cures under a UV lamp. UV bonds tighter, especially on curved displays.

    Will the protector affect screen sensitivity or face unlock?+

    No, with a clean install. Touch retention is full, the glass is only 0.4mm thick. Face unlock and the front camera operate normally through the cut-out.

    Is the UV glass case-friendly with slim and rugged cases?+

    Yes. Cured UV glass sits flush within the bezel. Slim and rugged cases close cleanly without lifting at the curved edges.

    What if I make a mistake during the install?+

    Before curing, the glass and glue can be lifted and re-cleaned. Once cured under UV, the bond is permanent. Practice on a microfibre cloth first if it is your first install.

    Does this fit the regular S10, S10e or S10 5G?+

    No. The S10 has a 6.1-inch display. The S10e has a 5.8-inch flat display. The S10 5G has a 6.7-inch display. Each model needs its own size-cut protector.
