⚠️ Hard Limit: Never exceed 120°C. High temperatures damage LCD polarizers, melt adhesive permanently, and can cause battery swelling. If adhesive is stubborn at 90°C, apply a small amount of isopropyl alcohol (90%+) around the screen edge and heat for longer — do not keep raising the temperature.
🔧 How to Use the Kaisi K-812
Follow these steps for safe, clean screen separation every time.
Step 1
Place the Screen
Put the phone screen on the metal plate with the LCD side facing up. If the glass is cracked, apply clear tape over it first to prevent shards from falling.
Step 2
Set Temperature and Wait
Power on and set the temperature to 80–100°C. Watch the LED display. Wait for the plate to reach the target temp — usually 2–3 minutes from cold start.
Step 3
Place Silicone Mat and Screen
Press the button, then place the included silicone pad on the plate for grip. Position the screen on top of the silicone pad. Heat for 3–5 minutes until adhesive softens.
Step 4
Separate the Screen
Insert a thin plastic spudger or separation wire between the LCD and the glass. Use gentle left-right motion. Keep the tool flat against the LCD surface at all times — never angle upward or the glass will crack.

Can I use this on Samsung Galaxy phones?
Yes. Samsung Galaxy flat-screen models work well at 80–90°C for 3–5 minutes. Samsung uses standard OCA adhesive on most flat screen models. Note that the K-812 is designed for flat screens only — it is not suitable for Samsung curved-edge or ultra-curved OLED models, as the flat metal plate cannot conform to the curve. For flat Samsung Galaxy models (A-series, many S-series flat variants), the K-812 performs reliably.
Is this safe to use on an Australian power outlet?
Yes. The Kaisi K-812 is rated at AC 220V 50–60Hz. Australian power outlets supply 230V at 50Hz. The 220V device rating is within the internationally accepted 10% voltage tolerance, meaning the unit operates normally on Australian power. No voltage converter or transformer is required. The unit ships with an Australian plug ready for use in standard AU wall outlets.
