    What does the Kaisi K-812 actually do?
    It heats the adhesive between an LCD and cracked glass. The heat softens the glue so you can separate them cleanly. A working LCD can then be reused in a repair. It also loosens back glass and frame adhesive on iPhones and Samsung phones.
    What temperature should I use for iPhone screens?
    Set the K-812 to 80–85°C for iPhone LCD and OLED screens. Heat for 3–5 minutes before attempting separation. Never exceed 100°C on iPhones. The absolute platform maximum is 120°C — going over burns the LCD permanently.
    Does it work with Samsung OLED screens?
    Yes. Set to 80–90°C and heat for 3–5 minutes. OLED panels are more sensitive than LCD. Stay under 90°C on Samsung OLED screens. Higher temps cause burn-in and permanent display damage.
    Can I use this for iPad or tablet screens?
    No. The heating plate is 180×130mm, which fits screens up to 7 inches. iPad and larger tablet screens extend beyond the plate. The heat will be uneven and the separation will not work correctly. This tool is for smartphones only.

    Yes. The K-812 supports dual voltage — 110V and 220V. Australian power is 220V so no converter is needed. Check the unit label before plugging in to confirm voltage compatibility.
    Do separation tools come in the box?

    How long does the plate take to heat up?
    The K-812 reaches working temperature in approximately 2–3 minutes. The LED display shows the current plate temperature in real time. Wait until it reaches your target temp before placing the screen on the plate.
