Yes. The charger works through cases up to 5mm thick. Thin silicone and plastic cases cause no issues at all.

For best magnetic alignment, use a MagSafe-compatible case. It will snap into position even through the case material.

Thick cases, metal cases, or cases with cards may slow charging. Magnetic strips near the coil can block it entirely. Remove cards before charging.

iPhone 12 to 16 charge at up to 15W. That's roughly 0 to 50% in about 30 to 40 minutes.

Samsung Galaxy phones charge at 10W. Older iPhones (8 to 11) charge at 7.5W. AirPods charge at 5W.

Speed depends on case thickness, temperature, and your power adapter. Use an 18W or higher adapter for best results.

You need an adapter rated 12V/1.5A or higher. That means 18W or more. Any 18W USB-A or USB-C power adapter will work.

A standard 5W iPhone adapter will charge your phone. But it will charge slowly — about 5W instead of 15W.

Charging speed may dip slightly when the screen is active. The phone generates heat when in use. That is normal.
