Installation and safety
Professional installation is strongly recommended. Replacing an iPhone battery requires opening the phone and handling delicate connectors, adhesive and lithium cells. The display seal is disturbed during repair, and the original water resistance cannot be guaranteed after opening.
- Do not install or use a battery that is swollen, punctured, crushed, leaking, unusually hot or otherwise damaged.
- Do not bend, puncture, short-circuit, heat, burn or disassemble the battery.
- Keep metal tools away from exposed battery contacts.
- Recycle the removed lithium battery through an approved battery-recycling service; do not place it in household rubbish.
