This tray does not add dual-physical-SIM capability to a phone that was manufactured for a different SIM configuration. Models A3292, A3293, A3295 and A3296 use regional nano-SIM and eSIM arrangements and should be matched against their original tray and internal SIM reader before purchase. United States models A3083 and A3084 are factory eSIM-only and do not have a standard physical SIM-tray opening, so this part is not a standard replacement for those models.
Important: no SD card support
Apple iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max do not accept microSD or other memory cards. This component holds compatible nano-SIM cards only. References to an SD card on generic supplier listings are not applicable to this iPhone part.
When this replacement may help

Installation and fit

- Use a suitable SIM-eject tool and apply gentle, straight pressure.
- Place each nano-SIM in the correct orientation and never force the tray into the phone.
Stop if the tray does not align or slide in with light pressure. Forcing an incompatible tray can damage the housing or internal SIM reader. Professional installation or inspection is recommended when the original tray is jammed, the frame is damaged or the phone has previously been converted between regional SIM configurations.
