Compatibility
This frame is intended for physical-SIM versions of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Compatible international model families include A3295, A3296 and A3297, subject to matching the original housing layout, antenna openings, connector positions and SIM configuration. The Australian iPhone 16 Pro Max is generally model A3296, but the model number should still be checked before ordering.
Not suitable for the United States A3084 eSIM-only version. The US model does not use the physical SIM-tray opening provided by this housing. Do not rely on the phone name alone: check Settings > General > About, the original housing and the SIM configuration before purchase. When a mid-frame replacement may be needed
A replacement mid-frame may be required after impact damage, a bent chassis, damaged button openings, a distorted display seating surface or damage around the physical SIM tray. The frame is a structural component, so correct alignment is important for display fit, button operation, cable routing and the final seal of the handset.
Professional installation strongly recommended
Replacing an iPhone 16 Pro Max mid-frame requires a near-complete device disassembly. Sensitive parts must be transferred from the original assembly, and connectors, antennas, cameras, battery, display and other components can be damaged by incorrect handling. Installation should be completed by an experienced mobile-device technician using appropriate tools and replacement adhesive.
Before sealing the phone, test the display, touch response, charging, cameras, microphones, speakers, wireless functions, SIM detection, side buttons and Camera Control. A replacement housing alone does not restore the original factory water-resistance rating. JPC Mobile does not claim that the repaired device will remain waterproof or water resistant after installation.
