    Insert opening picks no deeper than 5mm when separating the adhesive. Deeper insertion punctures the wireless coil or battery. Permanent damage results.

    📐 5° Maximum Tilt

    When lifting the back glass, tilt no more than 5°. The wireless coil flex cable is very short. Tilting further tears it from the logic board connector.

    A heat gun or heating mat is needed to soften the back glass adhesive. Too little heat and the glass won't release. Too much heat damages the battery or screen adhesive.

    Is the Blue Titanium colour an exact match to the original?+

    This assembly is colour-matched to the iPhone 15 Pro Max Blue Titanium finish. Minor colour variation can occur between manufacturing batches. This is normal for titanium-toned finishes and is not a defect.

    In most repairs, the colour match is very close to the original. If colour accuracy is critical, view the part in person first. JPC Mobile at Forest Lake can assist before you commit to the repair.

    How difficult is the iPhone 15 Pro Max back glass replacement?+

    This repair is rated 7/10 difficulty — one of the harder iPhone repairs. It takes 2–3 hours and requires specialist tools.

    A heat gun, P2 Pentalobe driver, Tri-point Y000, suction handle, and fresh adhesive are needed. Picking too deep is the most common failure. This punctures the battery or wireless coil. Tilting the glass too far tears the coil flex from the connector.

    Will my phone be waterproof after the back glass is replaced?+

    What model number is the Australian iPhone 15 Pro Max?+

    Australian iPhone 15 Pro Max units are model A3106 (International variant). This assembly is compatible with all four regional variants. Those are A2849 (USA), A3105 (Canada/Japan), A3106 (Australia/International), and A3108 (China).

    All four share identical back glass dimensions and internal component layout. The only differences are SIM tray and cellular bands. Check your model in Settings → General → About.

    Do I need to discharge the battery before starting the repair?+

    Yes — this is a safety requirement, not just a recommendation. Discharge the battery below 25% before starting. Lithium-ion batteries are flammable under mechanical stress.

    The removal process involves inserting tools near the battery area. A charged battery that is punctured can ignite. Draining below 25% reduces the risk of a thermal event. This step is mandatory for any professional iPhone repair.

    What does the 12-month warranty cover?+

    The 12-month warranty covers component defects under normal use. If a component fails within 12 months, contact JPC Mobile. Include your order number and fault description.

    The warranty does not cover installation damage. This includes cracks from incorrect fitting, or flex cables damaged during removal. Physical impact damage after fitting is also not covered. Colour variation from the original is not a warranty fault.

    How long does shipping take and how is it packaged?+

    Orders are dispatched within 2-4 business days from our Forest Lake Brisbane warehouse. All repair parts are packed in protective anti-static packaging. This prevents damage to flex cables, the coil, and the glass during transit.
