Diagnosable Variant — No IC Transfer, No Programmer, Plug-And-Play
This is the Diagnosable variant of the iPhone 14 Pro Max BQ7 Soft OLED. The display ships pre-flashed with valid panel calibration data. The technician does not need to lift, microsolder or transfer the original display IC chip. The screen also configures True Tone through Apple's own diagnostic tools — no JC, i2C or JCID programmer required. Saves around 20 minutes per job and removes the cost of a programmer module from the bench.
No hot-air station, no microscope and no flux work needed for the screen swap. The display IC chip stays on this new assembly — nothing to lift from the original.
No JC, i2C or JCID programmer module required to enable True Tone. Configure True Tone through Apple's own diagnostic tools after install. Saves the tooling cost.
Proximity and ambient light sensor flex already mounted on the assembly. Transfer earpiece, dot projector and TrueDepth camera from the original chassis — Face ID returns to full function.
Both functions return after install once True Tone is enabled through Apple's diagnostic system. Auto-brightness behaves correctly straight away.
Why BQ7 Soft OLED Beats Cheap Aftermarket
Most aftermarket iPhone 14 Pro Max screens are bottom-bin hard OLED panels with washed colour, weak peak brightness, ghost touch, brittle substrate that cracks during install and a fake 60Hz refresh rate dressed up as ProMotion. BQ7 sits at the top of the soft OLED aftermarket grade ladder. The result looks and feels close to OEM Apple OLED. Self-emissive deep blacks. Vivid P3 colour. Full 120Hz LTPO ProMotion. 1600-nit peak HDR brightness.
Each OLED pixel emits its own light. Black pixels switch off completely. True blacks, infinite contrast. Matches the original Apple Super Retina XDR depth.
Genuine 120Hz LTPO refresh, not a 60Hz fake. Adaptive 1-120Hz scrolling, smooth gaming and responsive touch. Always-On Display also works.
Full P3 wide colour gamut. 1000 nits typical, 1600 nits peak HDR, 2000 nits outdoor peak. HDR10 and Dolby Vision content renders with vivid highlights.
Capacitive multi-touch glass digitiser tuned for the 120Hz refresh. Smooth response across the panel. No dead zones, no ghost touch.
Dynamic Island cutout matches OEM exactly. Proximity sensor flex pre-installed. Transfer the original earpiece and TrueDepth array from the chassis — Face ID returns to full function.
Vendor-confirmed 12-month replacement warranty. Covers manufacturing defects on the panel and digitiser. Excludes physical damage.
iPhone 14 Pro Max Screen Problems This Soft OLED Fixes
Spotting any of these issues on your iPhone 14 Pro Max? Time to swap the display assembly. This BQ7 Diagnosable Soft OLED resolves all of these faults.
Spider-web or shattered glass face. Touch may still work but glass shards risk fingers.
Touch ignores input or registers ghost taps with no finger present. Digitiser layer is damaged.
Display will not light up. Phone still rings and vibrates. Panel or driver IC has failed.
Black dots, vertical lines or coloured bars on the panel. Common after a hard drop on concrete.
Faint static UI elements (Dynamic Island, status bar, keyboard) ghosted on the original OLED after long use. Fresh OLED panel resets the burn clock.
Whole panel skewed green, pink or yellow after a drop or moisture intrusion. OLED driver IC or panel layer damaged. Swap restores accurate colour.
BQ7 Diagnosable Soft OLED — Built-In Features
Sits at the top of the soft OLED aftermarket ladder. Tightest pixel tolerances, deepest blacks, full 120Hz LTPO ProMotion and the highest peak HDR brightness in this tier.
Flexible plastic OLED substrate. Each pixel lights itself. True blacks, infinite contrast, vivid HDR colour. Same panel technology Apple uses.
Adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate. Smooth scrolling, responsive gaming and full Always-On Display support. Not a 60Hz fake dressed up as ProMotion.
Reads serial, configures True Tone and runs Apple diagnostics directly. No JC, i2C or JCID programmer module required.
Matches OEM iPhone 14 Pro Max resolution exactly. iOS renders at native pixel density. Razor-sharp text and icons. No scaling artefacts.
Pixel-perfect Dynamic Island cutout for the TrueDepth camera array. Notification animations, Live Activities and Face ID all work after sensor flex transfer.
Proximity and ambient light sensor flex already mounted. Saves time during install. Transfer the earpiece and TrueDepth modules from the original chassis only.
Steel back plate already mounted on the assembly. No extra screws or shields to transfer.
Every panel is tested before dispatch. Pixels checked, touch swept, 120Hz response verified. No dead-on-arrival units.
Soft OLED vs Hard OLED — The Real Difference
Both panel types output OLED self-emissive pixels with deep blacks. The difference is the substrate underneath. Cheap aftermarket sellers swap one for the other and call them equal. They are not. This BQ7 is genuine soft OLED — the same flexible plastic substrate Apple ships from the factory on the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Bends slightly under install pressure without cracking. Far less likely to fail during the screen swap. Hard OLED uses rigid glass and is brittle in the technician's hands.
Slimmer panel stack. Sits flush against the iPhone 14 Pro Max chassis. Hard OLED is usually thicker and can press against internal flexes.
Same flexible substrate technology Apple uses on the factory iPhone 14 Pro Max. Identical look-and-feel after install. Customer cannot tell the difference.
Rigid glass substrate. Snaps if bent during install or sealed without perfect alignment. Higher install scrap rate, especially on first-time fitters.
Many hard OLED replacements ship a 60Hz panel and label it ProMotion. This BQ7 carries genuine 120Hz LTPO refresh and full Always-On Display support — verifiable in iOS settings.
All OLED panels (factory and aftermarket) use low-frequency PWM dimming below 50 percent brightness. This is inherent to OLED — not a fault of this panel. Honest disclosure.
Who This Diagnosable Soft OLED Is Built For
High-volume iPhone 14 Pro Max screen replacements. Reliable batch consistency, predictable margins, no programmer-tooling cost and no microsoldering bench fee on every job.

Plug-And-Play Install — 7 Steps
Power off the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Remove the two P2 pentalobe screws beside the Lightning port.
Soften the adhesive with a heat pad. Use a suction cup and opening pick from the right side. Open the screen like a book.
Remove the metal cover plates. Disconnect the battery first. Then disconnect the three display flex connectors.
Carefully transfer the earpiece speaker and the TrueDepth camera array (dot projector, infrared camera, flood illuminator) onto the new BQ7 assembly. The proximity sensor flex is already pre-installed.
Reconnect the three display flex connectors and battery. Power on. Verify display, touch, 120Hz scrolling, Always-On Display, Face ID and earpiece.
Run Apple's diagnostic tools to enable True Tone on the new screen. No JC, i2C or JCID programmer required for this Diagnosable variant.
Apply fresh waterproof adhesive strips. Press the screen home. Refit the pentalobe screws. Done.
Test first. Always verify the display, 120Hz refresh, Face ID and True Tone work before reapplying adhesive. Discovering a fault after sealing means re-opening the phone.
