When this part may help
This replacement may be suitable when the outer camera lens glass is cracked, chipped, missing or scratched but the camera module beneath still focuses and produces a stable image. Replacing the outer glass cannot repair a damaged camera sensor, autofocus mechanism, stabilisation system or internal lens. Blurry images, focus problems, shaking, dark spots or flare can also be caused by contamination or camera-module damage.
Installation guidance
Professional installation is strongly recommended. Removing broken lens glass close to the camera module requires care, suitable tools and a clean work area. All old glass and adhesive must be removed without scratching the camera beneath, and dust, fingerprints and fragments must be kept away from the optical path before the new glass is sealed in place.
Test every rear camera and focus mode before and after fitting. Incorrect installation, trapped debris, excess adhesive or pressure on the camera can reduce image quality or damage the device. Opening or repairing a phone can affect its original dust and water resistance; this replacement does not guarantee restoration of the device's factory ingress-resistance rating.
