When this part may be required
A damaged GPS antenna flex may contribute to inaccurate or intermittent location performance after impact, liquid exposure, corrosion or a previous internal repair. Location problems can also be caused by software settings, network conditions, the logic board, another antenna or a damaged connector. The device should be diagnosed before purchase; fitting this flex does not guarantee correction of every GPS or location-services fault.
This GPS antenna flex is not a Wi-Fi antenna, charging-port flex or cellular signal cable. Select the replacement part that matches the diagnosed component and the original flex removed from the iPad.
PULL-A condition explained
PULL-A identifies a genuine Apple component recovered from an original device and graded for reuse. Light cosmetic handling marks may be present and do not normally affect function. Because the part has been removed from another device, it must not be represented as brand new. Inspect and function-test it before completing the repair.
Installation information
Professional installation is strongly recommended. Opening an iPad requires controlled heat, suitable tools and careful handling of the display, battery and internal cables. Disconnect the battery before working around flex connectors. Inspect the connector and surrounding area for damage or contamination, then test location services and normal device operation before resealing the iPad.
Opening the device can affect its original sealing. Replacement adhesive and correct reassembly procedures are required, but the original ingress-resistance performance cannot be guaranteed after repair.
