Installation and safety
Confirm the 40mm watch size and model number before ordering. Apple Watch battery replacement is a difficult repair that requires opening the display and handling a lithium-polymer cell. Professional installation is strongly recommended. Do not bend, crush, puncture, short-circuit or heat the battery, and recycle the removed cell through an approved battery-recycling service.
The included strips secure the battery and are not a replacement display seal. Opening the watch can affect its water resistance; water resistance is not guaranteed after repair. Test the battery and watch functions before resealing the display.
