    Install Notes — Read Before Fitting

    • Power off and disconnect the battery before you start.
    • Warm the edges to soften the display adhesive. Lift slowly with picks.
    • Remove the connector shield before unplugging the display flex.
    • Calibrate the fingerprint sensor after fitting. Use Google's tool at pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/udfps.
    • Remove all screen protectors before first boot. The sensor needs a bare screen.
    • Opening breaks the IP68 seal. Water resistance cannot be fully restored.
    • Clean old adhesive and apply fresh adhesive to reseal the frame.
    • Use an anti-static strap to protect the panel and board.

    Does the frame come attached? +

    Yes. This is a full assembly. The bezel frame is bonded to the display. You do not transfer the frame from your old screen. That saves time and lowers the risk.

    Is the fingerprint sensor included? +

    Yes. The under-display fingerprint sensor is pre-installed. Cheaper bare OLED screens often leave it out. You must calibrate the sensor after fitting the screen.

    How do I calibrate the fingerprint sensor? +

    Use Google's official tool at pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/udfps. Open it in Chrome and boot into Fastboot mode. Connect a USB-C data cable and follow the prompts. The sensor pairs with the mainboard.

    What happens if I skip calibration? +

    The fingerprint sensor will not work. Biometric unlock fails until you calibrate. This is a normal step, not a fault. Run the Google tool once after fitting.

    Will it fit the Pixel 9 Pro or 9a? +

    No. It fits the standard Pixel 9 only. The 9 Pro uses a sharper panel. The 9a uses a different pOLED display. Check your model number before ordering.

    Is this a genuine Google screen? +

    We sell it as a complete OLED assembly with the fingerprint sensor included. We do not label it a genuine Google service part. Each panel is tested to match the original display and touch.

    Does it keep water resistance? +

    No. Opening the phone breaks the original IP68 seal. Full water resistance cannot be restored. Apply fresh adhesive to reseal as best you can. Avoid water after the repair.

    Is the screen tested before dispatch? +

    Yes. Every assembly is bench inspected. We verify the display and the touch response. Panels come from verified suppliers only. It arrives ready to fit.
