Apple lists these model numbers for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus and specifies a sapphire crystal lens cover on the original devices. This replacement is not confirmed for iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15-series models or other iPhones. Check the model number before ordering because camera housings can look similar while using different glass dimensions.
When replacement lens glass may help
- The outer camera lens glass is cracked, chipped, scratched or missing.
- Dust or reflections from damaged outer glass are affecting photos.
- The camera module works normally but its protective outer glass is damaged.
Blurred photos, focus faults, spots or camera errors can also be caused by dirt, condensation, a damaged camera module, stabilisation faults, software or damage inside the phone. Replacing only the outer glass will not repair a faulty camera module. Inspect and test the camera before ordering where possible.
Installation guidance
Professional installation is strongly recommended. Broken camera glass can produce sharp fragments and can expose the camera module to dust. Protect the lens opening while removing damaged glass, use controlled heat only where appropriate, remove old adhesive completely and avoid touching or scratching the camera lens beneath the cover. Clean the bonding surface and test image quality before final sealing.
The included adhesive is intended to position and secure the replacement glass, but the final bond depends on surface preparation, alignment, pressure and installation technique. Opening or repairing the camera area can reduce the device's original dust and water resistance. A repair cannot guarantee restoration of Apple's original IP rating.

The warranty does not cover incorrect diagnosis or incompatibility, cracked or scratched glass after installation, impact or pressure damage, installation damage, adhesive failure caused by poor preparation or alignment, dust contamination, liquid damage, cosmetic damage, unauthorised modification or damage to the underlying camera module.
This limited warranty is in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict or modify, any consumer guarantees, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Keep your proof of purchase and inspect the part before removing protective films or beginning installation.
