    🛠️ Install — 6 Steps (Pre-Fitted Frame Saves Time)

    STEP 1

    Power Off & Eject SIM

    Power the phone off completely. Eject the SIM/microSD tray. Place the phone face-down on a soft work mat.

    STEP 2

    Open The Rear Cover

    Heat the rear cover edges with a low-temperature heat pad. Use a suction cup + thin opening pick to release the back cover. Mind the fingerprint reader cable inside the rear chassis.

    STEP 3

    Remove Internal Shields

    Unscrew the Phillips screws holding the motherboard shield. Disconnect the battery flex first, then disconnect the display flex from the motherboard.

    STEP 4

    Transfer Internals To New Frame

    Move the motherboard, battery, USB-C charging board, loud speaker and rear camera assembly into the new pre-fitted BQ7 frame. No frame bonding required — that step is already done.

    STEP 5

    Reconnect & Power-On Test

    STEP 6

    Reseal The Rear Cover

    Apply fresh rear-cover adhesive. Seat the rear cover and apply even pressure for clean bond-out. Allow 5–10 minutes for the adhesive to grab before handling.

    ⚠️ TEST BEFORE SEALING. Verify the new display works completely — pixels, touch, brightness, 90Hz — before reapplying rear adhesive. Cosmetic install errors are not covered by warranty.

    Yes. This BQ7 LCD batch supports the original 90Hz refresh rate — vendor-confirmed. Cheap generic A04s LCDs often quietly cap at 60Hz; this one does not.

    Will my fingerprint reader still work after the swap? +

    Yes. The Galaxy A04s uses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor in the power button, not an under-display sensor. A display swap does not touch the fingerprint reader, so your existing biometric setup remains unaffected.

    What does "with frame" actually mean for install? +

    The LCD is already bonded into the metal mid-frame at the factory. You don't need a screen laminator, frame adhesive job, or pressure jig.     No. This part is the LCD assembly + black mid-frame + earpiece mesh only. The battery, USB-C charging board, rear cover, fingerprint reader, motherboard, speakers and camera all transfer from your existing phone. Order replacement battery or rear-cover adhesive separately if you need them.

    My A04s screen is cracked but the touch still works — can I just keep using it? +

    Not recommended. Cracked glass exposes the display layers underneath to dust, sweat and rain — moisture ingress will progressively kill the digitizer or LCD layer below. Glass shards can also cut your fingertip. Replace the assembly while the rest of the display is still working.

    Why is this an LCD and not OLED? +

    Because the Samsung Galaxy A04s shipped from the factory with a PLS LCD — not OLED. Fitting an OLED panel would not match the original A04s flex pinout or driver IC and would not work as a drop-in replacement. This BQ7 PLS LCD matches the factory display behaviour exactly.

    Can I install this myself, or do I need a repair shop? +

    DIY is realistic on the A04s if you have a heat pad, suction cup, plastic picks, Phillips screwdriver and have done a glued-back smartphone before.
