    Which Nintendo Switch models does this screen fit?

    This BQ7 LCD fits the standard Nintendo Switch (HAC-001). It is designed for the original Nintendo Switch in handheld and docked mode.

    It does NOT fit Nintendo Switch Lite or Nintendo Switch OLED. Both have different screen sizes and connectors. Check the back of your console โ€” the model number HAC-001 confirms compatibility.

    Why is this screen cracked or unresponsive โ€” what caused it?

    Nintendo Switch screens crack from drops, pressure, and flexing the console in handheld mode. Unresponsive touch is usually caused by a damaged digitizer layer or a disconnected ribbon cable.

    Yes. Nintendo Switch screen replacement requires specific tools. At minimum you need a JIS #00 screwdriver (not Phillips), plastic pry tools, a spudger, and a heated opening pick or heat gun to soften adhesive.

    What if the new screen has dead pixels or doesn't turn on?

    Every BQ7 screen is pre-tested before dispatch. Dead pixels on arrival are very rare. If you receive a screen with visible defects, contact us immediately โ€” we'll organise a replacement under our 12-month warranty.

    If the screen shows no image, check the LCD ribbon connector first. A loose or improperly locked connector is the most common cause of a blank display after installation.

    Does this restore the original screen brightness?

    Yes. The BQ7 LCD is designed to match original Nintendo Switch brightness levels. The backlight output and colour reproduction are built to OEM specifications.

    The Switch's built-in auto-brightness and manual brightness controls work normally with this replacement screen after installation.
