Installation guide
- Remove the phone case and switch off the iPhone.
- Wash and dry your hands, then work on a clean, stable surface away from fans and open windows.
- Use the supplied cleaning kit to remove oils, fingerprints and dust from the display.
- Inspect the screen under a bright light. Remove every remaining speck before exposing the protector's adhesive.
- Place the installation tray over the iPhone in the orientation shown in the Baseus instructions.
- Use the tray's application mechanism to release and align the glass without touching the adhesive surface.
- Allow the adhesive to spread, then remove the tray and gently push any small air pockets towards the nearest edge.
- Check the perimeter before refitting a case. A tight case lip should not press against or lift the protector.
Protection and fit limitations
A screen protector is a replaceable sacrificial layer. It can reduce scratches and help absorb some everyday impact, but it cannot make an iPhone scratch-proof, crack-proof or unbreakable. Baseus marketing imagery refers to laboratory drop testing; real-world results depend on the fall, surface, phone case, installation and point of impact. Damage prevention is not guaranteed.
The protector provides broad front coverage, so very tight or unusually thick cases may contact its edges. If a case pushes against the glass, remove the case rather than forcing it, because repeated pressure can lift the adhesive. The protector does not change the iPhone's water-resistance rating and should not be treated as waterproofing.
Care and replacement
- Clean with a soft microfibre cloth. Use a small amount of screen-safe cleaner on the cloth, not directly on the phone.
- Avoid abrasive powders, sharp tools and strong solvents.
- Replace the protector if it develops a crack, sharp edge, deep chip or persistent lifting.
- Remove damaged glass carefully and keep fragments away from children and pets.
- Fingerprints may still appear during use; the coating is designed to reduce and simplify cleaning, not eliminate marks completely.
