โ ๏ธ Is This the Right Part for Your Fault?
If your Moto G51 5G shows any of these symptoms, the charging port flex is almost always the cause. Replace it before condemning the battery or the mainboard.
Plug a known-good cable in and nothing happens โ no charging icon, no battery percentage rising. Try a different cable and charger first to rule those out.
TurboPower 20W is dropping back to slow charge. Battery percentage rises then stalls. The cable disconnects when you bump the phone.
USB-C plug feels wobbly. The cable wiggles or pops out under its own weight. Inner contacts inside the connector are worn or bent.
Callers cannot hear you on a normal phone call but speaker calls and voice notes still work. The primary mic sits on this same flex.
Phone charges but a computer no longer sees it for file transfer. Data pins inside the worn USB-C have lost contact.
Phone has been wet, or the connector is packed with pocket lint that won't pick out. Corrosion has reached the connector pins.

๐ง Installation Overview
Mid-difficulty repair. The Moto G51 5G opens through the back cover. The charging port flex sits at the bottom edge and clips onto the mainboard with a single FPC connector. No soldering needed.
Turn the phone off completely. Eject the SIM tray with the included pin tool.
Warm the back panel evenly to soften the adhesive. Use a plastic pry tool to lift the back cover. Take care around the fingerprint flex.
Always disconnect the battery before removing any other connector. Prevents short circuits during the swap.
Unclip the FPC connector from the mainboard. Lift the old flex out of its bracket. Note the routing path.
Drop the new flex into the same routing path. Press the FPC connector down evenly until it clicks home.
Reconnect the battery. Plug a charger in and confirm charging. Make a test call to confirm the mic. Then re-adhere the back.
โ ๏ธ Highly recommended: Have a professional fit this part. Incorrect fitting voids the AMPLUS warranty. Walk-in install available at our Forest Lake counter.
