Made for AirPods 1st and 2nd Generation
This protective cover is designed for the standard Apple AirPods charging case shape used by AirPods 1st Generation and AirPods 2nd Generation. It is compatible with charging case models A1602 and A1938. Check the small model number printed on your Apple charging case before ordering if you are unsure.
It does not fit AirPods 3, AirPods 4, AirPods Pro, AirPods Pro 2 or AirPods Max. This listing is for a protective outer case only; AirPods earbuds and the Apple charging case are not included.

The case can help reduce everyday scuffs, scratches and minor knocks. No protective case can make AirPods damage-proof, and protection will vary with the height, surface and angle of an impact.

A Lightning cable, wireless charger, AirPods earbuds and Apple charging case are not included. Product colours may look slightly different under various lighting conditions or screen settings.
Charging and daily use
The lower opening keeps the Lightning charging port accessible for cable charging while the case is fitted. Because the rear ring contains metal and charging performance varies between chargers, wireless and MagSafe charging are not guaranteed while this case is installed. Remove the protective case if your wireless charger does not connect reliably.
The ring can be rotated to create a small viewing stand or folded flatter against the back when not required. The supplied carabiner is useful for carrying the covered AirPods case, but always confirm that the clip is fully closed before moving.
How to fit and remove the case
- Clean and dry the outside of the Apple charging case.
- Align the charging opening and lid, then press the protective case into place evenly.
- Open and close the lid to confirm that the cover is seated correctly.
- To remove it, use the supplied removal tool gently rather than forcing the Apple case from one corner.

Care and limitations
Wipe the case with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry it before refitting. Do not submerge it, expose it to harsh cleaning chemicals or treat it as waterproof. Normal surface marks can develop with regular use. The carabiner and rotating ring are convenience features and should not be used for climbing, safety equipment or supporting heavy items.
