Compatibility and correct driver selection
Use this screwdriver only when the screw or repair guide specifies standard T2 Torx. It is not the same as a five-point P2 pentalobe driver, and it does not replace Phillips, tri-point or other Torx sizes. It is also not intended for security Torx fasteners with a centre pin. Phones, tablets, laptops, game devices and other electronics can contain several different fastener systems, so confirm each screw before turning it.
Safer precision work
Power the device off before disassembly and follow a model-specific repair guide. Seat the tip fully, keep the shaft straight and apply light downward pressure while turning slowly. Stop if the driver slips or does not fit. Never force a precision screw, as the head can strip. Keep removed screws organised by their original position because similar-looking screws can have different lengths.
