    This is a board-level repair part. The charging port connector is soldered directly to the main logic board. Installation is NOT a plug-and-play flex cable swap.

    Replacement requires: hot air rework station, low-temperature solder, flux, microscope or magnifier, ESD-safe workspace, and proven micro-soldering skill. Wrong technique can lift pads or damage the PMIC.

    We strongly recommend professional installation. If you are not a trained micro-soldering technician, please book a repair through a qualified mobile repair workshop instead.

    Will this single part really fit all seven Galaxy S21 and S22 models? +

    Yes. Samsung used the same USB-C charging port footprint and pinout across the Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S21 FE 5G, S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra. The connector is bench-tested for cross-model continuity before dispatch.

    Can I install this myself? +

    Only if you are an experienced micro-soldering technician. The port solders directly to the main logic board and requires hot-air rework, low-temp solder, flux and a microscope. We strongly recommend professional installation through a qualified mobile repair workshop.

    Is this a flex cable assembly or just the port? +

    This listing is the bare USB-C charging port connector — the SMD component that solders to the board. It is not a flex cable sub-assembly. The Galaxy S21 and S22 series do not use a separate charging port flex like older Galaxy models.

    Will it support 25W and 45W Super Fast Charging? +

    Yes. The port carries the full USB Power Delivery handshake. Once installed correctly, the S21/S21 FE/S22 will charge at up to 25W and the S21 Ultra, S22+ and S22 Ultra at up to 45W with a compatible Samsung Super Fast Charger.

    Does it support USB data, OTG and DeX? +

    Yes. Charging, USB 2.0/3.0 data transfer, OTG accessories and Samsung DeX video output all run through this single connector. All functions return to factory behaviour after a clean install.

    Will my phone still be water resistant after the repair? +

    Factory IP68 rating cannot be guaranteed after any opening. A skilled technician using fresh adhesive seals can restore strong splash and rain resistance, but treat the phone as no longer fully water-submersion rated.

    My S21 still won't charge — is the port definitely the problem? +

    Before replacing the port, rule out the cable, charger, battery and software. A workshop diagnosis with a current meter and known-good cable will confirm whether the failure is the port itself, the PMIC, or the battery.

    What warranty applies to this part? +

    Each part is bench-tested before dispatch. Because installation is solder-on and outcomes depend on technician skill, no installed-warranty period is offered. Australian Consumer Law statutory rights for the part as supplied still apply.
