Fingerprint sensor and certification notice
The Galaxy S21 FE uses an under-display fingerprint sensor. Samsung advises that unauthorised third-party tempered glass or protective films can affect touch response, display quality and fingerprint recognition depending on their material, thickness or pattern. This Kinglas product is not represented as Samsung-certified. After installation, delete and re-register your fingerprints, keep the sensor area clean and dry, and retain a PIN, pattern or password as an alternative unlock method if recognition is unreliable.
Installation
- Remove the phone case and any existing protector.
- Use the alcohol swab, dry the display with the microfibre cloth and lift all remaining dust with the tape.
- Align the black frame and centred camera area before lowering the protector.
- Press gently from the centre and guide remaining air towards the edges.
- Check edge clearance before refitting the case because raised case lips vary.
Frequently asked questions
Does this fit the standard Galaxy S21?
No. This protector is cut for the 6.4-inch Galaxy S21 FE G990 family. The standard Galaxy S21 G991 uses a different protector.
Will the fingerprint reader work?
It may, but third-party glass can reduce fingerprint recognition. Re-register fingerprints after installation and keep another secure unlock method available.
Does the cleaning kit come with it?
Yes. The supplier lists a microfibre cloth, alcohol swab and anti-static or dust-removal tape with the protector.
