Check your model before ordering

Open Settings > About phone or check the device packaging. This protector is for the 2017 J530 shape. It is not for the Galaxy J5 (2015), J5 (2016), J5 Prime or other J-series models.

Coverage and case fit

The Galaxy J5 (2017) uses curved 2.5D front glass, so this clear protector is intentionally smaller than the full front panel to help it adhere on the flat display area. A narrow uncovered edge is normal. Case compatibility varies.

Installation

1. Remove the case and clean the display in a low-dust area.
2. Dry the screen and remove any remaining dust.
3. Align the earpiece, sensor and home-button cut-outs before lowering the glass.
4. Press from the centre outward and refit the case after adhesion is secure.

Tempered glass helps protect against everyday scratches and minor impacts but cannot guarantee that the phone screen will not crack.
