Compatibility
Designed for the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, including model numbers A1864, A1897 and A1898. It is not suitable for the smaller iPhone 8 or other iPhone models. Check the model number in Settings > General > About before ordering.

Installation and battery safety
Professional installation is strongly recommended. Power the phone off and discharge the existing battery below 25% before opening the device. Never bend, puncture, crush, heat or burn a lithium battery. Do not continue a DIY repair if the old battery is swollen or damaged.
Opening the iPhone compromises its original water-resistant seal, so replacement display adhesive may be required. Compare the replacement with the original before installation and keep the battery connector disconnected while positioning the part.
Important notes
This is an aftermarket Greencell replacement part, not a genuine Apple battery. The 3400mAh figure is the capacity printed on the product; actual runtime varies with battery condition, device settings, signal strength, temperature and usage. A battery replacement may improve symptoms caused by a worn battery, but it will not repair unrelated charging, logic-board or software faults.
After installation, charge to 100%, leave connected for at least two more hours, use the phone until it shuts down from low charge, then recharge uninterrupted to 100% to calibrate the battery reading.

It does not cover accidental or physical damage, liquid damage, swelling caused by external damage or heat, incorrect installation, torn flex cables, punctures or damage caused during testing or fitting.
