    Install Notes — Read Before Fitting

    • Transfer the top sensor assembly to keep Face ID working.
    • That bar holds Face ID, the ambient sensor, proximity and mic.
    • It is heavily glued. Pry it up slowly to avoid breaks.
    • Move the two lower display cables across to the new screen.
    • True Tone may need serial programming to carry over.
    • Strong adhesive needs heat to soften before you open.
    • The panel is fragile. It cracks under uneven pressure.
    • Disconnect the battery first to protect the board.
    • Use an anti-static strap during the whole repair.
    • Seal with fresh adhesive to keep dust out.
