    Will it fit the 2021 or 2022 iPad Pro? +

    No. The 2021 and 2022 iPad Pro use a different flex cable. This part fits the 2018 and 2020 models only. Check the year and model number before you order.

    Does the colour matter? +

    The port shows from outside the device. This Silver part matches Silver iPads. For a Space Gray iPad, order the black port. Both colours charge and work the same.

    Does this affect Face ID? +

    No. The charging port is a separate part from Face ID. Swapping it does not disable Face ID. Take care during install though. The Face ID flex sits near the top and can tear.
