This is a simplified guide for experienced repairers. Professional installation is always recommended.
Step 1 — Power Off
Shut down your iPhone 11 completely before starting. Never work on a powered device.
Step 2 — Heat the Edges
Apply heat at 70–80°C around the display edge. This softens the perimeter seal.
Step 3 — Open Display
Use a suction cup and pry tool to lift the screen. Be gentle with the ribbon cables.
Step 4 — Disconnect Battery
Remove the battery connector bracket and unplug the battery before proceeding.
Step 5 — Pull Old Tabs
Pull the old adhesive tabs at a low angle towards the bottom of the phone. Go slowly.

What are battery adhesive strips and why do I need them?
Battery adhesive strips are double-sided tape with pull tabs. They hold the iPhone 11 battery firmly inside the device.
When you remove an iPhone 11 battery, the pull tabs stretch and break. The old strips cannot be reused after that.
Fitting a new battery without replacement strips leaves it loose inside the phone. That is unsafe and unprofessional.
Can I reuse the old adhesive strips?
No. The pull tabs are designed to stretch and release in one use only. Once pulled, they lose all holding strength.
Even if the tab doesn't break, the adhesive is greatly weakened after the first removal. It won't hold the battery securely.

What tools do I need alongside this adhesive kit?
You need a heat source, suction cup, and plastic pry tools. A heat gun or heat mat works well. A non-scratch spudger is also useful.
Precision screwdrivers are required: Pentalobe P2, Tri-point Y000, and Phillips PH000. An anti-static wrist strap is recommended.
90% isopropyl alcohol cleans old residue. Tools are not included — these strips are the adhesive component only.
Does this fit iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max?
No. These strips are cut specifically for the iPhone 11. The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have different battery shapes and sizes.
