    Yes, the HAC-006 battery fits both. Nintendo uses the same battery in both controllers. One battery model works for left or right. Order two if replacing both Joy-Cons.

    It's a straightforward DIY repair. You need Y-type and Phillips screwdrivers. Takes about 5-10 minutes total. Many YouTube tutorials show the process step-by-step.
    What tools do I need?
    You need a Y-type tri-wing screwdriver. Also a small Phillips screwdriver helps. A plastic pry tool is useful too. We sell tool kits if you need them.
    Will this work with Switch Lite?
    No, Switch Lite has integrated controllers. The controls are built into the console. This battery is for detachable Joy-Cons only. Original Switch and OLED models supported.
    How long will battery last?
    Expect 20+ hours of wireless gameplay. That matches Nintendo's original specification. With normal use it lasts 2-3 years. Same lifespan as original battery.
    Is soldering required?
