This assembly can address cracked glass, no image, lines, dark spots or touch faults when the screen assembly is the cause. It does not repair unrelated board, connector, battery, camera, speaker or Touch ID faults.
Installation requirements
The product image shows the display assembly only. The phone's original home button, front camera, earpiece speaker, shields and other small components may need to be transferred from the old screen. Retaining the original home button is required to preserve Touch ID.
- Professional installation is strongly recommended.
- Disconnect the battery before connecting or removing the display.
- Test image, touch, brightness, front camera, earpiece and home-button operation before removing protective films or completing the seal.
- Do not fold, crease, stretch or force the display flex cables.
- Physical or flex-cable damage caused during installation is not a manufacturing defect.
Water-resistance notice
Opening the phone can reduce its original resistance to liquid and dust. Fresh adhesive and careful installation may help with sealing, but the original factory water-resistance rating is not guaranteed after repair.
