    Run these 4 checks before ordering. Two minutes saves a wasted return.

    Test 1 — Force Restart

    Hold Power and Volume Down for 10 seconds. If still black, software is ruled out.

    Test 2 — Charge and Buzz Test

    Plug in. If the LED or vibration confirms power but the panel stays dark, the OLED is dead.

    Test 3 — Cast to TV

    Smart View to a Samsung TV. If the cast image is clean the GPU is fine — only the display has failed.

    Test 4 — Touch Screen Test Code

    Dial *#0*# in the Phone app. Tap Touch. Dead zones confirm a digitiser fault.

    Installation — Pro Repair Strongly Advised

    ⚠️ Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor stays with the original frame. Replacing the screen breaks the under-display fingerprint pairing. Fingerprint unlock will not work after the swap. PIN, pattern and face unlock still work.

    🔥 Heat pad required. The back glass is sealed with strong adhesive. Pro install strongly advised.

    Step 1 — Power Off

    Shut down. Discharge below 25%.

    Step 2 — Remove Back Glass

    Heat the rear. Slice the adhesive with a thin pick.

    Step 3 — Disconnect Battery

    Lift the shield. Pop the battery flex first.

    Step 4 — Move Internals

    Transfer board, battery, cameras and speaker.

    Step 5 — Seat New Display

    Reconnect display flex. Power test before sealing.

    Step 6 — Reseal Back Glass

    Apply fresh adhesive strip. Press and clamp.

    Does it fit S20, S20+, S20 FE, S21 Ultra or Note 20 Ultra?+
    No. Each of those uses a different panel size and chassis. This assembly is S20 Ultra 5G G988B only. Order the correct part for other models.
    Does it come with the frame attached?+
    Yes. The OLED panel arrives bonded to the Cosmic Grey aluminium frame. No chassis transfer is needed during install.
    Will the fingerprint sensor still work?+
    No. The S20 Ultra uses an ultrasonic under-display sensor paired to the original screen. After the swap fingerprint unlock will not work. PIN, pattern and face unlock still work.
    Will I keep the original 120Hz and HDR10+?+
    Yes. This is a true Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. It supports 120Hz refresh, QHD+ resolution and HDR10+ playback exactly like the factory display.
    How do I confirm the display is the fault?+
    Force restart the phone. Plug in to confirm power. Cast to a TV with Smart View. If the cast image is clean only the display has failed.
    What tools do I need?+
    A heat pad or hair dryer, plastic picks, a Phillips PH00 driver, ESD-safe tweezers, fresh back-glass adhesive and a clamp. Tools are not included.
    Can I install it myself?+
    Only if you are skilled and own a heat pad. The S20 Ultra back glass is sealed with strong adhesive. Pro install is strongly advised.
