Keep a compatible phone secure and powered while driving with the iQuick Q5 auto-clamping wireless car charger. The cradle opens and closes electronically, includes both air-vent and suction mounting options, and rotates for portrait or landscape viewing.

Phone compatibility and charging speed

The Q5 is designed for Qi-enabled smartphones that physically fit the adjustable cradle. The manufacturer lists support for phones approximately 4.0 to 6.9 inches, but case thickness, camera position and phone width can affect fit and charging-coil alignment.

15W is the charger's maximum output, not a guaranteed speed for every phone. The phone selects its supported charging rate. Conventional Qi charging on compatible iPhones is commonly limited to 7.5W, while some compatible Android phones can accept 10W or 15W. This is a clamping Qi charger and is not advertised as Qi2 or Apple MagSafe certified.

Power source required

For the highest supported output, connect the Q5 to a QC 3.0-compatible car power adapter capable of 9V/2A. A 5V/2A source can power the mount but may charge more slowly. A car power adapter is not included.

Mounting and safe use

• Use the vent clip only on a vent strong enough to support the phone and charger.
• Fit the suction mount to a clean, smooth surface and check the seal regularly, especially in hot weather.
• Position the mount where it does not obstruct the driver's view, controls or airbags.
• Set navigation and music before driving and follow the mobile-phone laws that apply to your licence and location.
• Remove metal plates, cards, grips and very thick cases that can block wireless charging.
