Will this work with my Samsung Galaxy phone?+
Yes. The L54 works on every USB-C Samsung Galaxy. Confirmed on S24, S23, S22, S21, A55, A35 and A25. Audio routes the moment you plug in.
Does this work with iPhone or older Lightning iPad?+
No. The L54 is a USB Type-C plug. It will not fit a Lightning port. Even Apple iPhone 15 and 16 use MFi-only audio paths.
What is the difference between active DAC and passive adapter?+
A passive adapter has no chip. It relies on the phone to send analog audio down the USB-C pins. Active DAC adapters convert digital to analog inside the dongle.
Will the inline mic and volume controls work?+
Yes. The L54 supports TRRS 4-pole headset mic and inline buttons. Play, pause, volume up, volume down and call answer all work.
What audio quality does the DAC chip output?+
The DAC outputs 24-bit at 48kHz. This is hi-res lossless quality, well above CD-quality 16-bit at 44.1kHz. Plenty of clarity for streaming or local files.
Does this work with iPad Pro and MacBook?+
Yes. The L54 works on iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad Mini USB-C. It also works on MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Plug in for instant audio.
Will it work with gaming headsets?+
Yes. Any 3.5mm gaming headset with TRRS will work. Mic plus stereo audio on a single 3.5mm jack is fully supported.
Do I need to install drivers or apps?+
No. The L54 is plug and play on Android, iPadOS, macOS, ChromeOS and Windows 11. The OS detects it as a standard USB audio device.
What does the 2-year Baseus warranty cover?+

Why is my old USB-C adapter not working on my new phone?+
