Which port should I use for my phone?+
USB-C is the higher-power port. Use it for any USB-C iPhone (15, 16, 17), iPad USB-C, Samsung Galaxy S20-S25, Pixel 6-9 and most modern Android phones. USB-A is for older devices: Samsung S6-S10, Huawei, older Oppo and OnePlus, dash cams and GPS units. If unsure, USB-C covers more modern phones.
Will it fast charge my Samsung Galaxy at Super Fast 25W?+
Yes, on the USB-C port. PD 3.0 + PPS unlocks Samsung Super Fast Charging at 25W on Galaxy S20 through S25. Use a USB-C to USB-C cable rated 3A or higher. Samsung S Ultra phones support 45W peak — this charger caps at 30W, which is still significantly faster than a standard 5W or 10W charger.
Will it fast charge my iPhone?+
Yes — use the USB-C port. iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max accept up to 27W via PD 3.0. Standard iPhone 15/16/17 fast-charge at up to 20W. For older Lightning iPhone (8 to 14), use a USB-C to Lightning cable in the USB-C port — that delivers 20W fast charge. The USB-A port to Lightning cable only charges Lightning iPhones at 5W.
Will it charge my MacBook in the car?+
Honest answer — only the smaller MacBook Air, and only when asleep. MacBook Air needs 30W minimum to actively charge. At 30W ceiling, this charger trickles slowly when the lid is closed but loses ground if you use the laptop on the road. MacBook Pro 14" and 16" need 67W to 140W — they will not register as charging on this 30W unit. For in-car laptop charging look at a 65W or 100W car charger.
What is PPS and why does it matter for Samsung phones?+
PPS stands for Programmable Power Supply. It is part of the PD 3.0 spec and lets the charger adjust voltage in tiny 20mV steps in real time. Samsung Super Fast Charging at 25W requires PPS — without it, Galaxy S20-S25 falls back to 15W. This charger is PPS-certified, so Samsung phones charge at full 25W speed and run cooler than on a non-PPS charger.
Can I charge two phones at the same time?+
Yes. Both ports run at the same time. With both active, combined output is 5V/5A — 25W shared between the two devices. Plenty for two phones at moderate speed during a drive. For the fastest possible single-device charge, plug into one port at a time so the full 30W flows to that device.
Will it work in a 24V truck or van?+
Yes. The charger accepts DC 12V to 24V input. It runs in standard 12V passenger cars, SUVs and utes, and also in 24V commercial vehicles including trucks, vans, buses, coaches and many caravans. Most cheap car chargers fail at 24V — this one is built for it.
Will it interfere with my GPS, radio or dash cam?+

For full 30W PD speed on the USB-C port, use a USB-C to USB-C cable rated 3A or higher (60W spec or better). For older Lightning iPhones, use a USB-C to Lightning cable. For Galaxy S6-S10, Huawei, Oppo or older Android, use a USB-A to USB-C or USB-A to Micro USB cable rated for the device's fast charge protocol. Cables are sold separately.
