Will Face ID work with this screen?
Yes, Face ID can work if the parts are transferred correctly. The Face ID sensors are separate from the screen. They clip into the top of the display. A technician must move them carefully to the new screen. If done right, Face ID works normally. If the sensors are damaged during transfer, Face ID may not work. Will True Tone work with this screen?
Yes, but only if IC chips are transferred. This screen has reserved OEM IC pads. That means it supports True Tone. A tech must move the chips from your old screen. If done right, True Tone works normally. No iOS warning will appear. If chips are not moved, True Tone stays off. Settings will show a message about the display. The screen still works perfectly otherwise. For full features, get the IC transfer done by a pro.
Does this screen fit iPhone 16 Pro Max?
No, this screen only fits iPhone 16 Pro. The 16 Pro Max is a larger phone. It has a 6.9 inch screen. The 16 Pro has a 6.3 inch screen. They are not interchangeable. Check your model number before ordering. Go to Settings, then General, then About. Look for Model Number. If it starts with A3293, A3083, A3292, or A3294, this is the right screen. If you have a Pro Max, search for that screen instead.
Can I install this screen myself?
We strongly recommend professional installation. iPhone 16 Pro is a complex repair. The Face ID components are delicate. The IC transfer needs special tools. Without proper training, you can damage parts. Face ID and True Tone may not work if parts are damaged. The screen swap itself needs careful handling. Cables are thin and tear easily.
