🔋 Battery Must Be Below 25%
Discharge your battery below 25% before starting. This is a safety requirement when opening any lithium-ion device. Puncturing a charged battery causes fire.
📏 5mm Maximum Pick Depth
Insert opening picks no deeper than 5mm when separating the adhesive. Deeper insertion punctures the wireless charging coil or battery — causing permanent damage.
📐 5° Maximum Tilt
When lifting the back glass, tilt no more than 5°. The wireless charging coil flex cable is short — tilting further tears it from the logic board connector.
🔥 Heat Required
A heat gun or heating mat is needed to soften the back glass adhesive. Too little heat and the glass won't release. Too much heat damages the battery or screen adhesive.
🌊 IP68 Seal Is Broken
Opening the phone breaks the factory IP68 water resistance seal. Water protection is only restored if fresh adhesive strips are correctly applied during reassembly.

You need a P2 Pentalobe driver, Tri-point Y000 screwdriver, suction handle, opening picks, spudger, tweezers, isopropyl alcohol (90%+), and replacement adhesive strips.

What does the 12-month warranty cover?
The 12-month warranty covers component defects on this assembly under normal use conditions. If the back glass, sapphire lens covers, or any pre-installed component fails due to a manufacturing defect within 12 months, contact JPC Mobile with your order number and fault description. The warranty does not cover damage caused during installation — including cracks caused by incorrect fitting, damaged flex cables from overheating or over-tilting, or physical impact damage after fitting. Colour variation from the original (as noted above) is not a warranty fault.
How long does shipping take and how is the assembly packaged?
