The Home button, Touch ID sensor, flex cable, digitizer, adhesive and installation tools are not included.
Installation notes
This small internal part is fitted behind the Home-button assembly on the rear of the front panel. Remove old adhesive completely, align the original button and bracket carefully, and test the physical click before sealing the display. Suitable repair adhesive is required.
Professional installation is recommended. Excess adhesive, incorrect alignment or pressure on the Home-button flex can damage the button or prevent a consistent click.
Touch ID and fault guidance
The original Touch ID Home button is paired to the iPad's logic board and must be retained to preserve fingerprint recognition. This bracket only supports and positions the button; it cannot repair a torn flex cable, damaged switch, failed Touch ID sensor or logic-board fault.
