Check the A-number on the back of the iPad before ordering. This part does not fit iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad Pro or later 10.2-inch iPad models.

Important Touch ID limitation

This aftermarket button can restore the physical Home/Menu button function after a correctly diagnosed button failure. Touch ID fingerprint recognition will not work with a replacement button because Apple pairs the original Touch ID sensor to the iPad's logic board. Preserve and reuse the original button if Touch ID must be retained.
