Installation and diagnosis
Replacing this flex cable normally requires iPad disassembly, removal of the screen and board-level soldering equipment and experience. Inspect and test the part before final assembly. Professional microsoldering installation is strongly recommended.
Charging problems can also be caused by debris, a damaged cable or charger, the battery, board connectors, charging circuitry or software. Diagnose the device before ordering; replacing the port will not resolve unrelated faults.
