    Will this battery fit my Nintendo Switch?
    This battery fits the original Nintendo Switch. That's model HAC-001 on the back. The battery part number is HAC-003. Check the back of your Switch. Look for the model number printed there. This does not fit Switch Lite. Switch Lite uses a different battery. This does not fit Switch OLED. OLED also uses a different battery. Only the original Switch uses HAC-003. If you have the red and blue Joy-Con version, that's the original. The V2 revision also uses this same battery. Both the 2017 and 2019 original Switch work with this part.
    What does 0-cycle mean?
    Zero cycle means the battery has never been charged. Each charge and discharge counts as one cycle. Batteries wear out over many cycles. A 0-cycle battery is completely fresh. You get the full lifespan from the start. No cycles used up sitting in storage. This is the best you can get for a replacement. Some batteries sit on shelves for months. They may have cycles on them already. AMPLUS batteries are factory fresh. You get maximum capacity right away. Your Switch will run like new again.
    Can I install this myself?
    Yes, but we recommend a pro. The Switch has many screws. Some are tri-wing type Y00. You need special screwdrivers. There are ribbon cables inside. They tear easily if you're not careful. The battery is glued down too. You need to pry it out gently. Heat helps soften the adhesive. One wrong move can damage things. If you're handy with electronics, it's doable. Watch some videos first. But if you're not confident, bring it in. We do this repair at our shop in Brisbane. Takes about 30 minutes for a pro.
    What tools do I need for install?
    You need a tri-wing Y00 screwdriver. Also a small Phillips head. A plastic spudger helps a lot. Tweezers for small cables. A suction cup can help too. Heat gun or hair dryer softens glue. Opening picks separate the case. Most tool kits for electronics work. Make sure you have the tri-wing. That's the one most people don't have. It's the three-point star shaped head. Regular screwdrivers won't work. The screws will strip if you force them. Get the right tools first.
    How long will this battery last?
    Play time depends on what you play. Bright games with lots of action drain faster. Simple games last longer. Expect 2.5 to 6 hours per charge. That matches original battery specs. The battery itself should last years. With normal use, 500+ charge cycles. That's daily charging for over a year. Most people get 2-3 years easy. Battery health drops slowly over time. When it gets weak again, replace it. Store your Switch at 50% charge. Don't leave it dead for weeks. These tips help any battery last longer.
    Is this as good as original Nintendo battery?

    This battery has built-in protection. Overcharge protection stops at 100%. It won't keep pushing power in. Over-discharge protection kicks in at low power. The battery won't drain to zero and die. Short circuit protection is included. If something goes wrong, power cuts. Temperature monitoring is active too. If it gets too hot, charging pauses. All these protections are automatic. You don't need to do anything special. Just use your Switch normally. The safety circuitry handles everything.
    My battery is swollen. Is that dangerous?
