Yes. The cable is rated 60W (20V/3A) and supports USB Power Delivery. It fast-charges every iPhone 15, 16 and 17 model via USB-C. Standard iPhone 15 and 16 models draw around 25-30W. Pro models push slightly higher. The cable handles all of these comfortably. Pair with a 20W or higher USB-C PD wall charger to unlock full speed — the cable alone does not charge anything without a PD charger plugged in.
Can I charge and transfer data at the same time?+
Yes. The cable supports 480Mbps USB 2.0 data transfer simultaneously with 60W PD charging. Plug your iPhone or iPad into a computer and back up photos while the device charges. A 1GB photo library transfers in roughly 24 seconds. iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max owners who want full USB 3.2 (10Gbps) transfer speed for ProRes video will need a separate USB 3.2 certified cable.
Will this charge a MacBook or USB-C laptop?+
Yes — up to 60W. The cable charges MacBook Air M1, M2, M3 and M4 at full speed, and the 13" MacBook Pro comfortably. The 14" and 16" MacBook Pro models need 96W or 140W at full speed — the cable still charges them, just more slowly. For Windows USB-C laptops, anything that draws 60W or less from a USB-C port works perfectly. Pair with a 65W or higher USB-C PD wall charger for best results.
How durable is the nylon braid in Brisbane's climate?+
Very durable. The nylon braid resists kinking and fraying. Brisbane summers are hot and humid — the tinned copper core with TPE shielding handles heat well. The USB-C connectors use anti-oxidation treatment that resists the corrosion common in coastal environments. The plug is rated for 10,000+ insertions, equivalent to plugging in multiple times daily for years.
Does the cable get hot during fast charging?+
No. The tinned copper core has a wider conductor area than most budget cables. More conductive area means lower resistance and less wasted heat. The TPE inner shielding adds thermal insulation. Under a 60W fast-charge load, the cable is mildly warm — not hot. Cables that get genuinely hot under load usually have an undersized conductor and are unsafe.

Will this cable charge a Lightning iPhone?+

What does the warranty cover?+
The 12-month replacement warranty covers manufacturing defects. If the cable stops charging or data sync fails within 12 months under normal daily use, we will arrange a replacement. Damage from cutting, crushing, kinking, water immersion or modification is not covered. Australian Consumer Law protections also apply.
