Can this charger power a MacBook Pro?
Yes. This charger works with all MacBook Air models and the 13" MacBook Pro M1, M2, and M3. At 65W, these laptops charge comfortably. The 14" and 16" MacBook Pro models need 96W or 140W at full speed. This charger will still power those laptops โ just at a slower rate than the original Apple charger. For desk and overnight use, 65W is perfectly adequate for the larger models.
What cable do I need to use with this charger?
You need a USB-C to USB-C cable for laptops, tablets, and USB-C phones. The cable must be rated for Power Delivery for the best charging speed. Cheap cables may limit the output to 5W. iPhone 12, 13, and 14 users need a USB-C to Lightning cable. iPhone 15 and 16 users need a USB-C to USB-C cable. Cables are not included with this charger. How fast will it charge my phone?
Very fast. iPhone 15 charges from flat to 50% in about 30 minutes when connected to USB-C2 alone. Samsung Galaxy S24 charges rapidly with the Samsung AFC protocol. Speed depends on the phone's own maximum charging rate and the cable used. When both USB-C ports are active, USB-C2 delivers up to 20W. That is faster than any standard 5W or 10W charger. For the absolute fastest phone charging, connect only your phone with USB-C2 while the laptop is disconnected.
What happens when I use both ports at once?
The charger automatically splits the power. USB-C1 gets 45W โ that port is for the laptop. USB-C2 gets 20W โ that port is for the phone or tablet. The total stays at 65W maximum. The smart chip in the charger manages this split without any input from you. Both devices charge at a good speed. If you disconnect one device, the remaining port gets the full 65W automatically. There is no need to switch cables or adjust anything.
Is this safe to leave on overnight?

Will this work overseas when I travel?
The charger itself supports 100โ240V input. That means the electronics inside work in the US, Europe, Japan, the UK, and most of Asia. However, the plug is the Australian three-pin Type I design. You will need a plug adapter for overseas wall sockets. The charger and its GaN technology remain the same everywhere. This makes it an ideal travel companion โ carry one adapter and charge your devices in any country with the right plug adapter.
What is the difference between GaN and a standard charger?
Standard chargers use silicon semiconductors. Silicon runs hot and wastes energy as heat. That is why old laptop chargers are large and warm.
