Maybe, but check software first. The USB-C port has power pins and data pins. Sometimes the data pins fail while power pins still work. That means charging works but file transfer doesn't. But computer issues can also be software. Make sure USB debugging is off unless you need it. Check that your tablet is set to File Transfer mode, not just Charging. Try a different USB cable rated for data. Try a different USB port on your computer. If you've tried all that and it still won't connect, the data pins in your port may be damaged.
