How does the 2-in-1 design actually work?+
The Hanman is two cases sold as one. The outer is a PU leather folio with card slots, a cash pocket, and a magnetic flip closure. Inside the folio sits a separate TPU shock case with a magnetic ring on the back. The TPU case clicks into the folio with magnets and pops out cleanly when you want to use it on its own. You get the full wallet experience when you want it, and a slim magnetic case when you don't.
Will this fit my iPhone 11 Pro or Pro Max?+
No. This case fits the standard iPhone 11 (6.1" display, model numbers A2111, A2221, A2223) only. The iPhone 11 Pro is 5.8" and the iPhone 11 Pro Max is 6.5" — different camera bump positions and overall sizes. How many cards does the wallet hold?+
The Hanman has multiple card slots and a separate cash pocket. Comfortably holds your driver's licence, debit card, credit card, transit card (Go Card, Opal, Myki), Medicare card, and a couple of business cards. The cash pocket fits folded notes, receipts, or a SIM ejector tool. Don't overstuff it — three to four cards per slot is ideal so the closure tab still snaps shut cleanly.
Does the magnetic ring work with car mounts?+
Yes. The TPU inner case has a metal ring built into the back specifically for magnetic car mounts. Pop the inner out of the folio, slap it onto any standard magnetic phone mount, and you're set. The iPhone 11 does not have a built-in MagSafe ring (MagSafe started with the iPhone 12), so this case is the easy way to add magnetic mount support to your iPhone 11.
Can I use wireless charging with this case?+
Wireless charging will not work with the full folio attached — the cards, magnetic ring, and leather block the Qi coil. To wirelessly charge, pop the inner TPU case off the folio and place the inner case (with phone inside) on the wireless charger. This is part of the design — one of the reasons the inner is detachable. Standard Lightning cable charging works in either configuration.
How well does it protect my phone if I drop it?+
The Hanman gives dual-layer protection. The TPU inner case wraps the iPhone 11 on all four corners, around the camera, and across the back — that's the primary impact protection. The PU leather folio adds a second layer over the screen when closed and softens edge impacts. With the folio shut, the screen is fully covered, which is one of the main reasons people choose a wallet case over a clear case.
Is the folio a real kickstand?+
Yes — the leather folio flap folds back on itself to form a horizontal stand. Useful for FaceTime, video calls, watching movies, or following a recipe in the kitchen. It works in landscape orientation. There is no portrait stand mode, but landscape is what most video and call use needs anyway.
Will the magnets affect my credit cards?+
Modern credit cards, debit cards, and transit cards are chip-and-PIN or contactless (NFC), not magnetic stripe. The magnets in the Hanman are not strong enough to damage chips or NFC antennas. The only risk is to old-style magnetic-stripe-only cards (rare in Australia today). If you carry a hotel keycard or an older swipe-only card, store it in the cash pocket rather than directly on top of the magnetic flap.
Is this real leather?+
The outer is premium PU (polyurethane) leather, not genuine animal leather. PU leather has the look and grip of real leather, is more weather-resistant, doesn't dry out, and is suitable for vegan customers. It is the standard material for high-quality wallet cases at this price point — most "leather" phone cases on the market are PU leather.
