Fits MacBook Air with MagSafe 2 Port ONLY · Does NOT Fit MacBook Pro, USB-C or MagSafe 1
FITS — MacBook Air with MagSafe 2 Port
- MacBook Air 13-inch — A1466 — Mid 2012, Mid 2013, Early 2014, Early 2015, 2017
- MacBook Air 11-inch — A1465 — Mid 2012, Mid 2013, Early 2014, Early 2015
- Any MacBook Air with the T-shaped MagSafe 2 port on the side
- Output 14.85V / 3.05A regulated — exact match for MacBook Air
- Apple model number A1436 printed on the brick
DOES NOT FIT (Avoid Wrong Purchase)
- MacBook Pro 13-inch / 15-inch (MagSafe 2) — needs 60W or 85W adapter, not 45W.
- USB-C MacBook (2016+) — uses USB-C charger. Different port.
- USB-C MacBook Air (2018+) — uses USB-C charger. Different port.
- USB-C MacBook Pro (2016+) — uses USB-C charger. Different port.
- MagSafe 1 (L-style) — older 2006 to 2012 MacBooks. Different connector shape.
- MagSafe 3 (2021+ MacBook Pro) — newer flat connector. Will not fit.
- iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch — wrong voltage and wrong connector.
Click the Apple menu, then About This Mac. Look for the model line. Match the model code to the FITS list above. Then check the side of the laptop. The port should be a flat T-shape. The brick should be marked A1436. Wrong port shape means the charger will not connect.

PULL-A Grade Honesty Disclosure
PULL-A means pulled from a working donor MacBook kit. Honestly labelled. Not new-OEM stock.
Where the charger comes from
Donor kits come from insurance write-off MacBooks, trade-ins and refurb stock. The boxed accessories are pulled clean.
What Grade A means
No frayed cable. No cracked casing. No bent prongs. LED works. Voltage holds under load.
Why Apple stopped selling these
Apple discontinued MagSafe 2 in 2018. The MacBook Air moved to USB-C. PULL-A is the only genuine route.
No manufacturer warranty
No Apple warranty on a donor charger. JPC covers 7-day dead-on-arrival. Bench-test on arrival.
Genuine vs aftermarket clone
PULL-A keeps real Apple voltage regulation and safety circuits. Aftermarket clones often drift voltage and trip the MacBook.
Honest grade label
We never sell PULL-A as new-OEM. PULL-A is donor stock from a working unit. Honest label every time.
Plug-and-Play Setup (No Tools Required)
Setup takes seconds. No drivers. No software. Just plug in and charge.
Slide the AU plug onto the brick. Plug into a 240V wall socket.
For desk reach, swap the AU plug for the long AC extension lead.
Hold the T-style head near the port. Magnets snap it into place.
Amber LED means charging. Green LED means battery is full.
Pull the MagSafe head straight out. The cord pulls free if tripped.
Fold out the cord wrap arms. Wind the cable around them. Compact for the bag.
None. No screws. No drivers. No software. Just plug into the wall.
Around 10 seconds from box to first charge. Faster than any phone charger.
Damage from incorrect mains voltage is not covered. Bring the kit into the Forest Lake workshop if you want bench help.
Reasons to Buy a Spare Apple 45W MagSafe 2 Charger
Real-world reasons MacBook Air owners keep a spare brick on hand.
Bricks get left in cafes, hotels and meeting rooms. Replace the lost one fast.
Old MagSafe 2 cables fray near the head. Replace before the wires short.
One brick lives in the bag. One stays at the desk. No more pack-ups.
One brick at home. One at work. The MacBook itself moves between them.
Real Apple voltage regulation. No charge errors. No power management warnings.
Apple safety circuits keep the MacBook battery healthy. Cheap clones can damage cells.
