What this protector can and cannot do
The Kinglas protector is intended to reduce direct contact between the camera area and keys, benches, bags and other everyday surfaces. It can also take minor scratches that might otherwise reach the exposed camera cover. It does not make the camera assembly unbreakable, impact-proof or waterproof, and it cannot guarantee protection from drops or heavy pressure. A damaged protector should be replaced rather than reused.
Any additional layer over a phone camera can occasionally contribute to flare, reflections or reduced image quality, especially around bright lights. Keep the protector clean, make sure it is centred correctly and remove it if you notice an unwanted change in photos or video.
Installation guide
- Remove any phone case and clean the rear camera area thoroughly with the supplied cleaner set.
- Allow the surface to dry completely and remove any remaining dust.
- Before exposing the adhesive, compare the protector with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold camera layout and check the orientation.
- Peel away the backing, align the openings carefully and lower the protector into position without sliding it across the lenses.
- Press gently around the edges so the adhesive bonds evenly. Refit your case only after checking that it does not lift the protector.
Case compatibility and care
Most cases with a sufficiently open Pixel 9 Pro Fold camera cut-out should work, but case designs vary. Check the clearance around the camera island before installation. To clean the fitted protector, use a soft dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, sharp tools and excessive pressure. Use the included removal tool carefully if the protector needs to be taken off.
