Practical protection, not an unbreakable shield
The Kinglas protector is intended to take light scratches and minor surface contact that might otherwise reach the exposed camera cover. It can be useful when the phone is placed on a bench or carried near keys and other objects. It does not make the camera assembly unbreakable, explosion-proof, impact-proof or waterproof, and it cannot guarantee protection from drops, sharp impacts or heavy pressure. Replace the protector if it becomes chipped, cracked, loose or deeply scratched.
Adding any layer over a phone camera can occasionally contribute to flare, reflections or reduced image quality, especially with flash photography or strong lights. Keep the protector clean, check that every opening is correctly aligned and remove it if you notice an unwanted change in photos or video.
Installation guide
- Remove the phone case and clean the full camera bar with the supplied cleaner set.
- Allow the surface to dry completely, then remove any remaining dust with a suitable dust sticker or clean air blower.
- Before exposing the adhesive, place the protector above the camera bar and confirm its orientation and opening alignment.
- Peel away the backing without touching the adhesive surface.
- Lower the protector into position carefully and press gently around the border so it bonds evenly.
- Inspect the lenses and openings, then refit the case only after confirming that its camera cut-out does not lift the protector.
Case compatibility and care
Many Pixel 9 Pro cases have room around the camera bar, but the size and depth of each cut-out varies. Check clearance before installation and do not force a case against the protector. To clean the installed glass, use a soft, dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive products, sharp tools and excessive pressure. Use the supplied removal tool carefully if the protector needs to be taken off.
