    Metal Ring Design — Why It Matters

    Most lens protectors use plain tempered glass. Kinglas adds a precision metal alloy ring around each glass piece. The ring does two jobs. It spreads impact and it locks the edge down.

    Without a Metal Ring

    Glass-only covers flex under impact. The edge is the weakest point. A waist-height drop can crack or pop the glass off.

    The glass can also lift at the edges over time. Dust then creeps into the gap. The bond weakens slowly.

    With the Kinglas Metal Ring

    Clean the Lens

    Wipe the lens area with the included cloth. Remove all oil and dust. Let it dry fully.

    Peel the backing film off the protector. Line the ring up over the lens. Take your time here.

    Press and Bond

    Lower it onto the lens and press the ring. The static charge sets the bond. No bubbles form.

    Repeat and Check

    Fit each remaining lens the same way. Take a test photo. There is no drying time.

    Yes. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max share the same three-lens camera cluster. One Kinglas set fits both models. It does not fit the iPhone 17, the 17 Air, or any iPhone 16. Check your exact model before ordering.

    Does the glass cover the lens itself? +

    Yes. The tempered glass sits right over each lens. It blocks scratches from keys, sand, and hard surfaces. A scratched lens hurts every photo for good. A scratched protector is just swapped out. The glass is a sacrificial layer.

    Will it work with my case? +

    Most cases for the iPhone 17 Pro fit fine. The glass is only 0.33mm thick. It sits inside the camera plateau. A case with a very tight camera cutout may catch the ring edge. Leave a small clearance margin to be safe.
